2012 Dues ARE DUE
Your 2012 dues are due. The dues for 2012 will remain at $35.00. This amount will be accepted only until December 30th. Any dues collected after December 30th will be assessed a $10.00 late charge and will be $45.00.
Also, please include the information update card with your dues as well as your ‘change of status’ application if it applies to you.
Chapter XIV Shines!
Our contributions have been reported to the International as follows,
Chapel Hill Bible Church, Marlboro, NY, $1,000. Family Services Inc., Poughkeepsie, NY, Adopt a Family program, $1,000. Light the Night Walk, Leukemia Lymphoma Society, $480 in services.
Eat Drink and be Merry!
This is not a poll! We are having a Christmas/Hanukkah/Holiday party and get together on December 17th at the VFW in Walden, Members and one guest are invited, food is included in the cost which is NOTHING, FREE. There will be a cash bar. You must RSVP by December 1st, no walk-ins will be allowed. Call or email any of the board members at the end of this newsletter with the number attending and if you need a gluten free meal. Come and meet your fellow members and spread some holiday cheer!

Debts
Do you owe the Chapter money for rockers or other equipment? If you do, I would contact Salvatore Marazita if I were you. Sal has been seen recently at Home Depot purchasing large quanties of QuickCrete and asking something about member’s shoe sizes.
Guests
Jose Ithier and Frank Cuevas from NY XX were guests at our November meeting. Congratulations were offered to Jose who was recently elected as President of NY XX. Both members expressed their thanks for the good times that they had riding with us on our Thursday night rides and expressed interest in our chapters working together on some future projects.
Events
The International Motorcycle Show is coming to the Javits Center Jan 21 – 23, 2012.
The 2012 annual Ptl Phil Cardillo Memorial Motorcycle Ride is set for April 15, 2012.
Other Events
The Walden VFW Post 2946 is having Breakfast with Santa on December 11th from 0700 – 1100 hrs. The cost is $8.00 per person, photos with Santa are $3.00 per picture and all proceeds go to Cancer aid and research.
The VFW also host a ‘Pot Luck’ dinner every Friday, 1800 hrs at a cost of $8.00. You don’t bring any food as in a regular pot luck. In this case the pot luck is whatever Dave Penny is cooking that night. Dave also stressed that Blue Knight members are always welcome at the VFW, even if they are not VFW members. Music
If you need a band for your event, one of our members, Donnie Belfiore is a member of the Carman Ave. Band. The Carman Ave Band is a Powerful Classic Rock - N - Roll Band that plays all of the hits from the 60's through today. They Play Rock -N- Roll like it oughta be played! Their Shows exceed your wildest expectations and leave you feeling like you were just at one of the Greatest Rock Concerts of your life. It very well could be that you were. They energize the crowd and leave them screaming for more every time. Each song that they do sounds like it is the original artist performing live right in front of you.
